Setting a goal can be scary.
Telling someone ELSE your goal can be even scarier.
What if you fall short? What if you fail? What will they think of you? Will they think less of you?
These are some of the conversations we have with our clients who we ask to share goals with us so that we can help them move closer towards those goals.
Let’s not forget the other side of the coin though.
What if you succeed? What if you finally achieve what you set out to achieve?
How will that make you feel?
When looking at goals, think of it like this:
You either achieve them OR you decide that the goal you set is no longer a priority for you and you change course.
If it’s still a goal worth having for you, you haven’t achieved it YET.
If you haven't achieved it yet, what are some of those reasons?
Is it the plan you have?
Does it need changing? Do you need more support or structure than you originally thought? Have you been experiencing set backs and unsure how to navigate them?
There's a way to get there if you want to, all of you have to do is figure out the best way for you and keep going!
